Empty Nest..

The puppies have all gone to their forever homes now.. The last three flew last Friday. It was a sad day for us and our house seems a little empty. Things are going back to normal, and Ashlie is enjoying her freedom..

I have a couple of pictures I took in the last couple of weeks of the kids and puppies.. But I will post them later.. It has been really busy getting ready for flights, sending goodie bags, and just taking care of the puppies. Since I am a hop-a-long it takes me longer, and my blog suffered for it..

We are planning on breeding Ashlie again next fall.. Check back periodically for updates. I am not on as often in the 'off' season.. But we still post updates of past puppies and will update you on upcoming puppies!

6 and 1/2 Weeks Old..

I know this is the latest I have EVER posted my update.. I am just moving slow I guess! Here they are, the last three.. 6 and a half weeks old.. They are all doing AWESOME at their potty/kennel training.. They have even slept through the night twice!

Sleeping Beauty
She is a very calm puppy.. Really quiet. She loves to snuggle, but doesn't EVER refuse to play with her brother and sister.

Prince Charming
Prince is very regal.. He ADORES people and would rather be snuggling with my daughter than anywhere.. He is always watching my mom, wondering when she is coming to get him I am sure. He is an absolute sweetheart, and will do well with his new friend Pepper..

Princess Ariel
Ariel is a delight. She is playful & snuggly. She is so small but can hold her own with her brother & sister. She really didn't want her picture taken today and was more interested in exploring..

It was a sweet, but sad weekend.. Flynn & Snowy went to their new homes.. I think they named Snowy, Mia. And Flynns new family was thinking of keeping his name as Flynn!
I haven't heard how their week has gone yet, but I hope to soon!

Again I am sorry I posted late. It has been a busy, crazy weekend.. Enjoy our babies!

The puppies are enjoying the warmer weather.. My mom carries them in and out of the house in that wicker basket. So when they start getting tired of playing they head over to the basket like "ok, we're done now".. I am going to try to add the video she took of them today playing. Too Cute!!

5 Weeks Old..

This has been a crazy week! The puppies turned 5 weeks old today! Their personalities have just blossomed. We enjoy just watching them play.. They were a little tired when I took the pictures..

The puppies are eating well, not completely weaned but close..They will be able to go to their new homes locally next Friday, January 13th, Any puppies that will be flying can go two weeks later on January 27th!

PRINCE CHARMING
Phantom Black & Silver, Gorgeous super coat, mellow personality with a little bit of play.. He is already showing the conformation of a champion! His name suits him! He is Royalty! He loves to snuggle and give kisses.. He loves his tummy rubbed and to be cuddled like a baby..

Prince is SOLD, and he will be moving to Pennsylvania with Pierre & Carol & Their 8 year old Schnauzer Pepper! I am sure he will love his new home! Thank you Pierre!

SNOW WHITE
Dazzling Pure White Chocolate Movie Star! Snowy is ALL personality and glamor. Her pictures do not do her justice. And I can't use a flash on her because she is so white it blurs her out! She loves to play and typically starts it. But when it is time to cuddle she is the first out of the kennel. She loves people and loves to snuggle..

Snow White is SOLD.. Her new family lives in Utah,
Where she will definitely be spoiled, played with and cuddled a lot!

PRINCESS ARIEL
Talk about RARE! Ariel is a unique Chocolate Pepper, she has the same markings as the hard to find platinum silver color with a chocolate chip nose! She is a TINY little girl. She is the perfect amount of playful & cuddly all wrapped up in a little package. She LOVES people and typically is the first to meet me at the door. She has a loving temperament and disposition.

Please just let me sleep!!

Ariel is SOLD.. She will be flying to New Mexico to live with her new family. They have already informed me that they are already buying her clothes, toys and all sorts of fun stuff! Just 2 Weeks and 2 days to go! Thanks Linda!!

FLYNN RIDER
Flynn is the definition of Phantom! He is labeled a Dark Chocolate & Tan, his features are so striking that he really looks almost a silver white color. He too carries the champion conformation of his litter mates, he is very distinguished. He is the mellowest of the bunch. He likes to take a romp outside and will play when he is picked on, but for the most part you snuggle him like a baby and he is completely content.. And who can resist those puppy kisses!

Flynn is SOLD his new home will be in Colorado. They are driving to pick him up so he gets to go to his new home next Saturday! Too Soon for me, but I am sure he will be spoiled rotten and love his new partner in crime..

SLEEPING BEAUTY
Beauty is a traditional white Schnauzer, however, what sets her apart from her super coated siblings is her absolutely gorgeous MEGA coat. She is a beautiful puppy. She is mellow for the most part, but if she gets riled she can hold her own! She has a sweet temperament loves to have her tummy rubbed. And prefers to snuggle for the movie and give puppy kisses..

Beauty is SOLD! Her new home will be in Indiana..
Just a few more weeks.. Then she will be snuggled and loved by her new family!

First Groovy Haircut!!

They did so awesome.. All of them were nervous about the buzzers and were a little shaky but they turned out so cute! Now they really look like Schnauzers!

We took them outside for playtime because it was such a nice day for Utah in January! I was hoping to wear them out some so they would be a little docile for group pictures..

They were a little too docile.. They were falling asleep, tipping over.. It was an adventure..

So I apologize the pictures aren't better. I had surgery yesterday on my knee that ended up a lot more involved than we had planned, I am on crutches in a unbending leg splint.. Not very easy to catch the perfect pose.. But thankfully the puppies are cute with out help from me!

Its all Fun & Games..UNTIL I get peed on..

The Softest, Fluffiest Puff Balls EVER!

Prince was really good, he started getting a little squirmy with the blow dryer, but he was almost dry..

Ariel was scared, She seemed to like the bath part, I blow dried her holding her like a baby..She was a little shaky but held really still..

Snowy loved the bath didn't care for the blow dryer.. She held still for the most part, but got squirmy at the end..

Flynn just kicked back, let me bathe him, blow dry, he didn't care as long as he got the snuggle after..

Beauty was alot like Flynn, just let me take care of business.. she got a little bored because it took me forever to blow dry all of that hair! By the time she was dry, she was ready for some cuddles and a nap!

I was very proud of all my babies and their first time bathing.. They are growing too fast.. They get their haircuts tomorrow afternoon so check back!

Kibble N'Bits..

4 WEEKS OLD!!

Our babies are 4 weeks old now! This will be a busy week! In addition to their playtime, cuddling and brushing them twice a day, we are going to see how they do on soft kibble, potty training, they get their first bath, blow dry AND a hair cut! Check back, we will have lots of updates this week!

ARIEL
Princess Ariel is a gorgeous unique chocolate pepper. She is tiny! Her coat is thick, soft and wavy. She is the perfect amount of playful and cuddly wrapped up in a tiny package.

FLYNN RIDER
Flynn is a dark chocolate and tan color, with beautiful phantom features and a thick super coat He is extremely mellow, prefers snuggling over playing, but will play with his sisters if they bug him long enough..

SNOW WHITE
Snowy is a beautiful, bright brilliant white chocolate color with a thick soft wavy coat and LOTS of personality. She loves to play, is the first out of the kennel for playtime but loves to snuggle for a movie.

PRINCE CHARMING
Prince is a beautiful, traditional black & silver in color with phantom markings. He has a thick wavy super coat. He has a lot of expression in his little face. He is really mellow, he likes to play, but prefers his afternoon nap.

SLEEPING BEAUTY
Beauty lives up to her name.. She is a traditional white in color, but has her daddy's mega coat! She is a fluff ball! She has a fairly mellow personality, but once Snowy gets started will jump into the fun of tackling her brothers..

The time is passing too quickly.. We are really enjoying these sweet puppies. They really just soak up the attention and have so much love to give..

3 WEEKS OLD!!

COLOR.. COLOR.. COLOR!!

What a fantastic variety! These puppies are the most gorgeous, sweetest little pups you have ever seen! Unfortunately, I am not a professional photographer, so the pictures just do not do them justice. Feel free to come and visit them! They are playing, wobble/walking around and always willing to let me cuddle with them. Once in awhile we hear a squeak, that doubles as a bark.. SO MUCH FUN!! We have been giving them oodles of attention, socializing them with children and thoroughly brushing them twice a day. We will start them on their softened kibble at 4 weeks old and will be completely weaned off of their mama by 6 weeks.

FLYNN RIDER
Flynn is a cuddler.. He will play if his sisters bug him enough, but he prefers to lay around and let them crawl all over him. He is a mega coated DARK chocolate and tan, with striking phantom markings! He should mature as a toy sized miniature schnauzer.

SNOW WHITE
Snowy is a brilliant white chocolate, mega coated movie star! She is lovable, has a perky personality and is always up for playing.. Should you want to cuddle while you watch a movie, well she is up for that too.. As long as you are paying attention to her too..

PRINCE CHARMING
Prince is as charming as they come.. He is a mega coated, traditional phantom black & silver male with beautiful features. He is the most mellow of pack. He would much rather cuddle and snuggle than play, doesn't make a peep, and is the easiest to photograph!

ARIEL
Ariel is an absolute princess! With her unique light chocolate pepper coloring and her very soft coat. She is the perfect amount of cuddly and playful all wrapped up in a tiny little package. She is the smallest of the bunch but can hold her own when playing with her sisters. She prefers my lap though and sweet snuggles on my neck..

SLEEPING BEAUTY
Beauty definitely lives up to her name.. She is a traditional white schnauzer, she has a lush SUPER soft mega coat that you can't resist running your fingers through it! She isn't as spunky as her white chocolate sister, but enjoys playtime.. with a good nap afterward. She is a sweetie no doubt!

The puppies are three weeks old! They will be able to go to their new homes locally no earlier than January 16th and will be able to fly no earlier than January 27th. We would be happy to reserve your puppy and will hold them for you until they are ready to come home. We require a $300.00 deposit.

I only breed once a year and am not doing this as a business. Ashlie is my only Schnauzer and is a huge part of our family. We take alot of pride in our puppies and know they will make excellent additions to any family, with or with out kids! Feel free to call or email me any questions. The puppies are two-weeks old now! Their eyes have opened and their as cute as ever! All puppy eyes are blue, like people.. But it will be fun to see if we get hazel eyes on our chocolate puppies!

Ariel is a tiny light liver pepper female with a gorgeous chocolate nose! She has a soft fluffy coat, a cuddly personality and oodles of love!

Flynn is a gorgeous dark liver and tan male with striking phantom markings! He is a snuggler, holds still for my pictures! And seems to have a really mellow personality so far.

1 Week Old..

The puppies are already one week old! Their tails were docked and dew claws were removed on Wednesday. They are all healthy and sound, happy round bellied babies!

FLYNN RIDER
Dark Liver & Tan with STRIKING phantom markings. He has a very thick coat with a cuddly personality. His coat is a very thick, and a rich chocolate color.

SNOW WHITE
Is looking more and more like a mega coated white chocolate little girl! She has a brilliantly white coat, really mellow so far and loves to be cuddled up with the other pups.

PRINCE CHARMING
Prince is a phantom black and silver with a thick mega coat. He is the most curious of the lot, and the only pup that didn't get a chocolate nose like his dad!

SLEEPING BEAUTY
Beauty is a solid white, mega coated snuggler! She has so much hair on her neck it sticks up! She is looking like she will have a black nose like her mama!

ARIEL
Ariel is the tiniest little girl! Her marking are like a salt & pepper, but she has a chocolate nose! I think she will be a light liver pepper in color! I can't wait to see, she will be gorgeous for sure!

All of the puppies are doing well and eating alot! They are handled daily with alot of love! Stay tuned for 2 Weeks old pictures! That is typically when their eyes open!

The puppies are three days old today! They are all eating well and just darling. Ashlie is a little stir crazy so I am trying to give her longer breaks from the puppies. They go to the Vet on Wednesday for their check up and to dock their tails and remove their dew claws..

introducing ARIEL
I have never had a puppy this color before. Ariel has the three banded hair, and a chocolate nose so I am guessing she will be a Liver Pepper. She has such a beautiful unique reddish tint to her coloring, I can't wait to see her grow! She is a tiny little gal, the littlest of the bunch.

introducing FLYNN RYDER
Flynn is a dark liver and tan male with striking phantom markings! He is a wiggly little guy who likes to explore even at such a young age. I am constantly looking for him and digging him out of the blankets!

introducing SLEEPING BEAUTY
Beauty is a solid white female. Her nose is just filling in, I think she is looking like a white chocolate like her daddy, but I want to wait till it is in completely before I dub her 'white chocolate'. She is a cuddler, never cries, just likes to be snuggled..

Prince is a black and silver male. He is a cuddly little guy, the chunkiest in the litter. He loves to eat! He has a really thick shiny coat.

Snowy is a fluffy pure white female. She is looking like she may also be a white chocolate, but as with Beauty, I am going to wait until her nose has completely filled in to make that judgment. She is sweet and cuddly. As they all are this young..

All of the puppies are available for adoption. I require a $300.00 deposit to reserve the puppy of your choice. Since the puppies will be a little to young to go to their new home on Christmas, I am putting together a fun puppy 'gift' pack that you can give your kids Christmas morning. You can even come and visit any time you want! Then you do not have to worry about keeping a puppy quiet, or worry about the puppy in the commotion of the holidays!

5 Precious little babies!

Liver Pepper Female, 2 White females (maybe white chocolate?), Phantom Liver & Tan Male and Black & Silver Male. All of them seem to be doing well and their mama is taking good care of them!

She started this afternoon at about 1:00. The first three girls came fairly quickly. The fourth one was like 2 hours later, than at 7:45 p.m. came the fifth and final pup..

What a gorgeous group of kids!
And here we go! already 4 loads of just puppy laundry today..
Weighing twice per day, making sure they eat every two hours..
It begins!!

Here is our baby Ashlie.. I took this just last weekend.. She is the biggest she has ever been! I really feel for her. My two year old doesn't understand that she is pregnant and really tries to get her to play. Although she is extremely patient with him, I find her more under foot than normal, I think trying to hide from him..

She doesn't pose well for pictures.. She would rather be in my lap. So I had to zoom without her noticing, and since it was taken with my itouch it is poor quality.. But you can see how big her belly is!

Ash got her name because her favorite place to hang out since the day we brought her home is by the wood stove.

Another poor quality, but you can really see her size! Her head looks tiny cuz her belly is so big!

This was the day she got her maternity cut..

BAXTER, fka FREDD-E
"Hello!
Baxter (Freddie) just turned one year old! We have enjoyed him so much over this past year!! He is such an important part of our family. Our children remind us that he is their brother! Ha ha! Baxter thinks he is a little kid. He loves to be held like a baby, snuggle and play with kids.

He is good-natured and so smart! We bought a bark collar to teach him not to bark. He has worn it a few times. However, all we usually have to do is ask, "Do you want your collar on?" and he stops barking and runs! So funny!!

We really love our puppy! He is wonderful! We can't thank you enough for bringing such a wonderful little dog into the world!"

Oliver, FKA RICCO

"..Oliver is doing wonderful - I could not remember his exact birth date, but I am thinking he will turn two tomorrow (or close to the 11th). He has been a great addition to the family - our three year old Cooper is always entertained playing with him. One of his favorite treats in the WORLD is a piece of APPLE. It is hilarious - we avoid feeding him human food.....but when it comes to an apple he will not give up until we share. He can be at the other end of the house....and if he hears the slicing of an apple on the counter top he will come running. Just now I sliced up an apple for a little snack - he was fast asleep in his bed, but as soon as he heard the knife cutting he came running in to have a taste. He loves to play soccer in the back yard with the boys - and is always part of the action around the house. He is a good dog - very obedient and low maintenance. We love his markings and just got him a hair cut....it had been a few months since we had taken him in. Attached is a before and after. I hope all is well for you guys - any puppies for Ashley this winter???? We love Oliver - he is an absolute joy for our boys and is always happy to see us all. Bella and Oliver went to the same home! They keep each other company while their family is at work.

They are definitely spoiled and really loved by their family. Bella likes to play and play outside where Oliver likes to be in and cuddle.. (unless I mixed them up? and its the other way around?)

Bella looks SO much like her mama..
They both enjoy taking turns at being their mommy and daddy's side kick..

Bailey also turned 3 this October! It is amazing how time goes by so quickly!

I am lucky because I get to see Bailey on a regular basis. She only lives a couple houses away from us! In fact, Tanner, Ashlie's boyfriend for her upcoming litter, is REALLY Baileys forever boyfriend! The picture I included is a picture of Bailey & her first litter.

She fits right in with her family. They have three small kids and she adores them. Endless walks on the leash, cuddling and tons of patience!

"He is our little baby - a huge part of our family. We love him so much. He's a really good boy. He's got manners, loves to fetch, he's spunky, and yet he's also a little snuggler and loves nothing more than to curl in my lap on the couch at night. He's awesome - couldn't imagine our house without him.... he's snuggling on the couch with me as I type this."

One of the best parts of being a 'breeder' are the new friends I make. Tank (pictured above) was from Ashlie's first litter. He will be 4 in March. They loved Tankie so much they needed a sister, Blanca (pictured below) who will be 2 this year! It is crazy how fast time speeds by, but I love my new friends! And am happy our babies have found such good homes!

Tank & Blanca are extremely spoiled and live in New York. Their mama is so awesome to regularly send me pictures of them. I love updates!

We all LOVE Christmas puppies, and to be honest I am kindof disappointed we won't have them this year. Dewy will be 3 this fall! He is from Ashlie's second litter. You can see his baby pictures on the older posts (2008) It looks like they keep his hair on the longer side, but it is obvious he inherited Ash's soft curly hair. Look how cute his face is! He is a companion to another schnauzer and a beagle! Just goes to show how amiable this breed is. They love everybody and everything..

Already 7 Weeks Old!

This is a hard age to photograph. Mick wanted to eat the props more than pose for me.

The first time I flew a puppy I was sobbing.. The poor attendant that was helping me check in didn't know what to say.. I just said "your use to this right? doesn't everyone bawl" as he handed me a tissue, he said "uh.. well, no.. "

So Mickey will be no different than the rest, I will tear up.. But it makes all the difference when you know they are going to good loving homes!

We only have one week left with this little man! I love and get attached to all of our puppies. but it gets harder to let them go when we keep them so long!

6 Weeks Old..

This week has been insane, I am sorry I am just getting these pics up! The puppies officially turned 6 weeks old on Thursday. Christmas was so much fun this year,
it is sad it is over so quickly. I hope everyone had a great holiday and that the New Year brings happiness to you and your families!

The time with our little babies is quickly coming to an end! We went from 5 to 2 in just a couple of days, and Fredd-E is going tomorrow afternoon. Mick-E is going to be flying in January so he gets to hang out for a couple more weeks!

My little man has really taken to the puppies. He decided to pack them around in the wagon santa brought him. His big sis thought adding a few of her pups would make it better for the parade they were going to be in? So he is sharing the wagon with a stuffed Border Collie, Max from the Grinch, Pongo & Penny from 101 Dalmatians, a puppy pillow pet and 2 Yellowstone Wolfs!

Yes, he was quite cozy in there and it was really cute!

Don't you just want to smooch that face!!!

Mick-E loves people. He will follow us around the house and he is SO quick! He constantly tries to climb in my lap during his 'free' time instead of attacking and playing with my shoes like Fredd-E.

It is amazing how you can fall so head over heels so quickly, for something so small!

5 Weeks Old!

You know your life is exciting when the highlight of your day is when all 5 puppies poop outside.. Yes, I realized this as me and Sis were doing the Dora 'we did it' dance this morning..

All of the pups are starting to get the idea, and it is a relief for sure! They are eating pretty good, still want their mom so I am separating them a lot more so they eat more food! Ashlie is weaning them herself too! I hear her grumble at them when they try to latch on! She is a good mama!

Here are their 5 week old pics, I can't believe the time has gone so fast. We are really going to miss these gorgeous little babies!

He is a cuddle bug and a little shy, but still enjoys his play time.

Freddy is a little more on the playful side of mellow. He is kindof a macho man.. Maybe little man syndrome? He is sweet and likes to snuggle and be with people.

Daphne is our princess. She is so petite and loves people, loves to play and rule the roost. She is very snuggly and would lick ya to death if you let her!

Mickey is an absolute sweetheart all wrapped up in a tiny package. He is waiting for his new family to pick him! He is a very mellow and easy going mini schnauzer. He has been very well socialized, loves kids, and to be snuggled like s baby!
He is eating well and catching on to the potty training.He has an absolutely adorable face a perfectly square body and a plush soft & wavy coat!

Bath Time!!

Bath time went surprisingly well! No one howled for the water or the blow dryer! They were all nervous, but I let them sniff the blow dryer as it was running before I blew it on them, and I would take it off of them periodically but kept it running. I think it is the sound more than the wind that is scary to them. They all turned into little puff balls when they were dry! Their pictures do not do them justice. But they had already been through enough trauma I didn't want to make them pose for pictures all night!

First OFFICIAL Groom..

It is so important to make sure your puppies first haircut experience goes well. If the groomer is not patient with them it could traumatize the puppy enough to where they could become aggressive or even get anxiety and have uncontrollable wetting accidents over just getting their haircut! The buzzer and blow dryer are the scariest parts. It is important to break them in slow and reassure them constantly while you are bathing, blow drying or buzzing them.

I love my groomer. She is so patient and sweet to ALL dogs! (Even the ones who bark constantly, are REALLY smelly or have TERRIBLE breath!) Do not be afraid to interview your groomer. Ask if you can see them in action, or for references of other clients who own Schnauzers. Really call them, ask them what they like and dislike.. Most owners can tell if their dog likes going or not. Ashlie likes it, is excited to see Amy.. licks her to death.. If your dog is cowering away from your groomer, it may be a sign?? Anyway, these are just my thoughts. I am rambling because it is late! Yeah, don't let the adorable sweet expression fool you! She knows she has EVERYONE wrapped around her little .. uh.. paw. She is the most outgoing of the bunch. But she isn't crazy hyper. She really likes people and has started whining for me even when she is with her mom!

The puppies were worn out from all of the attention they got today! First thing we went and got their haircuts. Then sis and her little friend gave them tons of play time this afternoon. And, our neighbors came by to hold and cuddle them, as did our cousins. THEN mean me, made them pose for pictures so I could show everyone how stinking cute they are!

They were all just perfectly behaved while being groomed! A little nervous, but just sweet as could be!

First REAL Food!

It was an absolute mess! The puppies loved it though- AND you should have seen their little faces, they were soaked! Didn't quite grasp the idea of going potty outside either. They all huddled together in the grass and fell asleep..

Schnauzers are very intelligent, I am sure they will get the idea after a couple of more tries! I really try to get them started in their potty training to help their new families!

4 WEEKS OLD..

The time is flying by. The puppies are already 4 weeks old! Christmas is going to be here before we know it.. Am I ready? hmmm probably not. But we are so excited for it!

FREDD-E (Available)

Freddy is the smaller of the two blackies. He is the perfect amount of playful and cuddly all wrapped up in a tiny package!

He is a rich dark black color. He has a tiny white spot on his chest which will most likely shed out with his puppy hair and the tip of his toes on one of his back feet have been dipped in white.

MICK-E (Available)

Mick-E is our cuddle bug. He loves to be held like a baby at the nape of your neck. He will play with his litter mates, but really prefers to hang out and just watch them play.

Mick-e is a rich black color, he has a white patch on his chest a goatee on his chin and his back toes have also been dipped in white.

SHAGG-E (Reserved)

Shagg-E is such a little sweetheart. He didn't care much for his bow, probably too girly for him!

He will be going to his new home Christmas eve! Boy are those kids going to be surprised!

DAPH-NE (Reserved)

Doesn't Daph-NE have the most precious face? You can't help but kiss it!

Although she is really mellow and a quiet pup, she seems to be the boss of her brothers. When she wants to play, they don't really have a choice and have to play with her.

Scoob-E's eyes are really blue, I think they will turn that rich tan color like his daddy's!

Scoob-e's new mom bought him for a Christmas present for her white female schnauzer! They will make a very cute pair!

Shagg-E is a snugly little guy.

Nothing seems to bother him. He is just happy to be there, getting attention.

He was a little distraught that I put him down to take his picture. As soon as I picked him up again he fell fast asleep, almost instantly!

Shagg-E got reserved last night! He is going to a family with Kids of all ages and he will fit right in! What an exciting Christmas morning!!

Play Time!!

Remind you of anyone? The pup on the far left, yes, TANK from Ashlies first litter! He was pre-blogging days. But boy does Mick-E remind me of him as a puppy! He is the first one to instigate the playtime and the last one to tire out!

Last night the pups were totally wrestling each other. I watched them for a minute and then decided to tape them, and then of course, because I had my camera, they were exhausted and were winding down by the time I hit record. They are still irresistibly cute so I thought I would share the footage!

It is insane how much response we have been getting! I LOVE IT!
I thought I would post some answers to the 'frequently asked questions'.

I LOVE talking about my pups!

1.The male puppies should mature between 10-13lbs, 12" Tall (at the tallest) Our little princess should be between 9-12lbs and 12" Tall

2. You can see more pictures of their papa Wall-E and mama Ashlie by clicking on the 'SEPTEMBER' (2010) post located on the right side of the blog.

3. We do a lot of research in our breeding to ensure the highest quality, conformation, disposition and most of all temperament in our puppies.

4. The puppies will be 6 weeks old December 23rd. We can help facilitate (with in reasonable distance) a Christmas Eve delivery! Let me know what your needs are and we will see what we can do.

5. We can ship your new puppy to you! They have to be 8 weeks old in order to fly. (January 6, 2011 is the soonest they can go). So if you are wanting a Christmas surprise, I would be happy to ship your puppy package to you with their photo album in time for Christmas so you have something to open Christmas morning.

6. I do not crop their ears. I prefer the natural darling flop!

7. We have references! Even people who have come back for their second Schnauzer! Feel free to ask for their contact information, like me, they love to talk about their babies!

This week has been a crazy one for sure! The puppies turned 2 weeks old yesterday, so I am a day late posting their pictures. However, they opened their eyes TODAY so it is luck that I was too busy yesterday, being Thanksgiving and all, to take and post their pictures.

MICK-E

Doncha love that face! He is the cutest little man. He really doesn't like the bandanna. He was growling at it! But he likes to be snuggled in his blankie! Do you blame him though? It is like 6 degree's here!

SHAGG-E

Shagg-e was a squirmer today. He wanted to explore, instead of pose for pictures! He always looks like he is smiling! I love his cute little face!

DAPH-NE

Here is our little princess. She is definitely is the most spoiled. My daughter favors her because she is a girl.. She is a sweetheart and really like to snuggle!

Fred-e is a sweetie pie! He seems to really like being held like a baby on my shoulder. It is hilarious.

And, last but not least, here is our little darlin Scoob-E. He is pretty much content anywhere. He really just wanted to sleep instead of pose for me.

PUPPIES ARE 1 WEEK OLD!!

They all are doing fantastic! They were all examined by the Vet this week, got their tails docked and dew claws removed and a clean bill of health!

They have been such a delight to have! I am constantly reminding sis that they are still to little to 'play' with and she can't wait till they are big enough! She spends most of her free time just talking to them, barking at them and snuggling them.

Yes, it really feels like they should be a month old by now, not just a week. We are already so attached to them!

You may notice I changed Rock-E to Fred-E. I tried to talk her into Rock-E but she wouldn't have it. "There is no Rocky in Scooby Doo mom.." Yeah, there isn't.. since she is only 5 I didn't bring up the fact that I do not recall Mickey Mouse in any episodes of 'ole Scooby Doo either! ;-) Fred-E seems to fit him better anyway! (and there is no squishy!)

Sis has finally decided on names for the pups. For those of you who know her, the names should not comes as a surprise.. Scooby Doo is a big part of our lives!

We changed the spelling to go with their Daddy's name Wall-E.

DAPH-NE (Daphne):

Daphne is our only female this time! She is a rich brown chocolate color with unique white markings on her head, tips of her toes and her chest.

SCOOB-E (Scooby):

Scoob-E is also a dark chocolate color with white on his chest, the tips of his toes and a light goatee on his chin.

SHAGG-E (Shaggy):

Shagg-E is also a dark chocolate color, he has a light goatee on his chin, a little more pronounced than Scoob-E, and a small white spot on his belly.

Fred-E (Freddy):

Fred-E is a deep solid black. He has a tiny white spot on his chest and his back left toe. They will most likely fade as he is groomed.

MICK-E (Mickey):

Last but not least, here is Mick-E, He is a rich black with white on his chest and a light goatee on his chin.

These puppies are just darling, tiny and quite active for just three days old! They were squirming all over the place while I was trying to take pictures! They get to meet the Vet for the first time tomorrow!

Welcome little ones!!

Here they are- FINALLY! Ashlies water broke close to 11:00 a.m. The first little pup was born about noon, and the rest followed about every 30-45 minutes. Ashlie is the best mama ever! I do not know that I could keep doing this if she wasn't. We are going to the Vet on Monday for their well check, remove their dew claws and dock the tails.
Mommy and babies are doing awesome!

We got 5 puppies total, 1 chocolate female and 4 males 2 chocolate and 2 black! They are all tiny little things! They are pretty close to the size of a field mouse right now! I forget how small and fragile they are when they are first born.

If you are interested in a puppy, we require a $300.00 deposit to reserve the puppy of your choice. The remaining balance is due by the time the puppy is 6 weeks old. These puppies will be 6 weeks old the week of Christmas, so they are perfect for your Christmas Morning Surprise!

Please feel free to call or e-mail me with any questions; Sis will be naming them tomorrow and we will post more information and better descriptions as well. I am currently talking her out of 'Squishy' as the name of the little female :)

Just an update, puppies are officially due tomorrow! Ash is definitely uncomfortable but she isn't nesting like she usually does. I expect Friday will be the day, but we are hoping tomorrow night!

She is off of her food a little, I am not sure if it is because my little man is making sure she is well fed from his bowl, or if she is just getting ready! I will keep you posted!

Barefoot & Pregnant...

Do you see how big her belly is? I really feel for her.. She isn't waddling like she usually does at this point, she still has a week left, so there is still time for waddling..

She is eating TONS! and wanting to go outside every five minutes. but I don't blame her. Anyone who has had a baby would sympathize I am sure!

She got to go to the doggy salon today and get pampered. She got her 'maternity' cut and was able to escape from my two little 'helpers' for just a little while. Yes, they are exhausting.. but we are all very excited for the puppies to get here!

Here is Ash.. Normally she is waking me up to go outside first thing in the morning. But lately it seems as though she is sleeping a lot! Meet Ashlie's new beau! Mellow, fun loving Wall-E! AKC registered, He is a toy Liver & Tan Parti! He has so much expression in his eyes! He is perfectly square with a perfectly shaped little head! Not only does he have champion bloodlines, he is loaded with the sought after Music Maker and Oklahoma bloodlines; this makes him a very high quality sire! He is SO well behaved! Especially for how young he is! We can't wait to see what color of puppies they will have!

Although little miss checks daily to see if Ashlie has had her pups, We are expecting them around November 10th, which makes them perfect for Christmas puppies!

Here she is, our last night with Sugar Baby, who is now named, Blanca Spirit..

It took a day of grooming, bath & blow drying to get her to calm down enough for these pictures.

We are sure going to miss her! She has been Cassidy's better half for the past two weeks, and really I do not know what we are going to do with out her!
She is flying tomorrow, we wish her well in her new home! We have it on good information that she will be REALLY spoiled!

Yes, the pictures are blurry and not very good. Sugar HATES her pictures taken now. She wants to PLAY PLAY PLAY! She hates her bows, won't hold still and she really would rather chew on my camera strap than bother to pose! What happened to my photogenic puppy?

Here is Frosty doing the Beagle Boogie.. It was hilarious! I couldn't get him to pose for me, it is hard to do pictures after 5 weeks. The pups are too interested in the props!

All Ricco wanted was to eat the blankie! He is quite the snuggler though. Once he got his blankie just right he curled up and went to sleep!

Sugar has the sweetest face! She has a pout to her that I am sure will get her what ever she wants! :) She is definitely the most photogenic. She will sit and pose for me all day long!

Just three lest at home! Ricco and Frosty get to go to their new families on Christmas Eve! What a FUN Christmas present! I already miss Paisley and Koda. Time has just flown by!

We only have two pups left! Koda Bear & Paisley.

Paisley is a Salt & Pepper female, who should mature at the top end of a toy size, or a very small mini size. She is the perfect amount of cuddly and playful. She has gorgeous markings and is very socialized. She would be great with kids, she loves mine! She is super mega coated, and she NEVER Barks!

Koda Bear is a very small little black & silver male. He will mature Toy sized. he is a little sweetheart and loves everybody and everything. He likes to play, but is as content to hang out. He is a very mellow pup, and NEVER barks.

We would love to find homes for them for Christmas!

The puppies had their vet check and their shots today and they are all perfectly healthy and happy! I can't believe we are almost at 6 weeks old! I hate watching tiny pups get shots, but not one of them even cried! What good babies!

It is not the puppies, it is the photographer! I am sorry, but for some reason the pics are really grainy. I reduce them so they download faster and I can't use a flash because it glares off of their SO shiny coats.. and the white pups disappear. Please e-mail me if you would like me to send you pics in a higher resolution!

5 WEEKS OLD..

5 Weeks old already! The puppies will be able to go to their new homes on December 22, or we are happy to keep them until Christmas Eve for your Christmas Day surprise!

The puppies will be going to their new home with a their tails docked, dew claws removed, first set of shots. In addition, we are including a puppy starter kit to help you with your new baby. The kit includes a Training Miniature Schnauzer book, AKC paperwork & puppy pack (puppies come with full AKC registration), a stuffie toy and blankie, food to get you through your first few days. AND as a special gift - we will be sending you home with a little scrapbook of your new baby with pictures since the day the puppies were born!

We really try to make the transition as easy as possible. We rotate the blankie and toys through out the day, everyday, that way they will smell like the puppies mom and home that they are accustom. So when they go to their new home, it is a little more comforting to go with something they are familiar with.

We also feed three kinds of puppy food so you can take you pick on what you want to feed your new puppy. We feed Science Diet, Iams & Innova Puppy Foods. (Be sure you purchase the small breed/bites under 12 months). If there is a different kind of food you are wanting to feed your new pup, simply mix it in with the mixture I give you, and gradually increase the amounts, this will help to not upset puppies tummy, and saves you the mess of a puppy with an upset tummy!

Sugars new home is going to be in New York!

Sugar is as sweet as her name! I think she knows it cause she seems to always get what she wants! She is an all white small mini sized pup. She loves playing, sleeping, eating and then playing some more. She was pretty tired for her photo shoot, but she is such a little darling!

She is the most playful out of the bunch. She is also the boss of the litter. Sugar has a soft wavy coat and loves being scratched behind her ears! She is such a good girl when it is picture time!

Ricco is a Phantom Black & Silver Toy sized male. Although he does enjoy a little wrestling with his siblings, he is the mellowest puppy out of the bunch. He likes to observe the others pouncing.. He adores people and absolutely loves to snuggle. He is a very quiet little man! I have never heard him bark!

He has beautiful markings, he has a really soft wavy coat and enjoys being brushed. Pretty much anything to do with getting attention he is up for!

Frosty is such a fun little guy. He loves to play with Sugar, and they will often tag team the other pups! He is very quiet, but very curious. He will sneak out of his kennel just to explore, back himself into a corner, and then cry for me to come help him out!

Paisley is the perfect amount of cuddly and playful! She doesn't like to be left out when her litter mates are playing. She is really affectionate to people. Really likes her snuggles and is an absolute sweetheart! She wouldn't hold still for her pictures! She was so interested in seeing the camera!

Paisleys pictures do not do her justice. She is a gorgeous Salt & Pepper small mini sized schnauzer. She has the prettiest markings. She is super mega coated like her daddy with the curls like her momma. She will be the top end of a toy or a small mini sized schnauzer.

FOUR WEEKS OLD..

The puppies are four weeks old now! They are such a mellow bunch of pups. Their eyebrows and their little muzzles are starting to fill in! We are really enjoying them. My daughter is old enough now to appreciate the pups, and she is a fantastic little helper! Especially in socializing them. She plays with each and everyone of them. However, she is still not a fan of cleaning their kennel! :)

We pay alot of attention to the puppies so they are not a handful when they go to their new homes. We brush them daily so they love the brush, and be sure to give them alot of snuggles!

We like being a small breeder to ensure that the puppies are well cared for and get TONS of attention. They are kept in our home and are around kids so they are well socialized.

THREE DAYS OLD..

The pups are three days old now. They had their first visit to the vet who docked tails and removed their dew claws. I know they are only three days, but it really feels like three months! Even though we only handle them when needed their first week, my daughter and I are enjoying our time with them.. She is such a great helper!

The puppies should be ready to go to their new homes (locally) December 22nd and we are happy to keep them until the 24th for your Christmas surprise! Because they can't ship until they are at least 8 weeks old, they will not be able to fly to their new homes until January 5th (weather permitting).

Welcome Puppies!

As always, Ashlie is the BEST mamma! She had no complications and a super clean delivery. She had her first two pups fairly quickly, then the other 3 came about 30 -45 minutes apart.

There were 3 Males and 2 Females. All of them are tiny but seem to be doing well. I have never lost a pup yet so here's hoping this litter is a healthy one! The first week is always stressful for me!

Here's the stats.. They are not named yet, just numbered.. :)

1. Male. Black & Silver 6oz
2. Male. Black & Silver 6oz
3. Male. White 7oz
4. Female. White (could be wheaten) 7oz
5. Female. Salt & Pepper 5oz

We will start taking reservations on the pups when they are two weeks old. We require a $300.00 deposit to hold them, and payment must be in full by the time they are 6 weeks old.

Females are $1,300.00 and Males are $1,000.00: prices are subject to change depending on size of puppy.

We are picking Ash up from the breeder this weekend! We are hoping for puppies due in October and ready for their new homes just in time for Christmas! The Sire we used is a Toy Schnauzer and throws Teacup and Toy sized Schnauzers. Check back in a couple of weeks for more pictures and information on their daddy!
