Puppy Play Time..

 

I love watching the puppies play.. Here is this mornings adventure.. 

 Hudson is so cute! He is our little macho man..

When the others start to play he really does not like getting left out.

 I love this age.. They still wobble around but they are so curious and love to play!

 Our little Coco Chanel got reserved today! Her forever home where she will be pampered and spoiled rotten will be in Provo, Utah.. Thank you Clemens family!!

 

It didn't take long for them to get tuckered out! They all curled up together for a rest..

3 weeks Old..

all I want for Christmas is my 2 Front Teeth!!

 

This past week has flown by! I love watching the puppies explore and learn about life.. Today my daughter took pictures with me. Her pictures were hilarious and if any of them actually turned out I will post them later this week! Please bare with me on the white puppies.. I can't use a flash so they aren't really true to color. But they turned out cute and you can't help but love ALL of them!

 

HUDSON

 Hudson is a gorgeous light liver - pepper male with a chocolate colored nose. He has striking phantom markings and darling white tipped paws. His coat is so thick and soft with just a little wave to it.

 This little macho man likes to explore and wander around when he is on the floor. But he LOVES cuddle time and doesn't need much time before he snuggles deep in your arms and falls fast asleep!

 

ASHTON

 Ashton is a beautiful white chocolate male with a chocolate chip noes! He has a unique champagne color to his thick and fluffy white coat. We have nick named him 'Dusty' and he is really as cute as they come.  

 This little fur ball is super mellow. Content in any situation really. Likes to explore.. but mostly just to find another warm spot to cuddle up in! His favorite position to sleep in on his back with his legs all sprawled out.. Super cute!

 

CHANEL

 Chanel is a gorgeous dark liver-pepper female with a chocolate chip nose and tiny white tipped paws! She has stunning phantom markings and her coat is super soft and thick. These pictures do not do her any justice! There is no denying how cute that little face is!

 This petite beauty is as kissable as they come. She is a tough little cookie! Don't let her size fool you. When it's time to eat she climbs on top of those bigger brothers and fights her way in through the crowd. She is a snuggler and seems to take in her surroundings really well..

 

HUMPHREY

 Humphrey is a dazzling solid white male with a tiny black as coal nose. He has a gorgeous soft coat that I just love running my fingers through.

This little cotton ball is the best of both worlds. He is the first to explore, but loves to snuggle in our arms and nap.  I just love his little face! I can't get enough of him.

 

BOGART

 Bogart is a beautiful white chocolate male with a chocolate chip nose! He is a little 'mini me' of his daddy, with his soft thick coat and mellow personality.

 This cute little man had the hardest time staying awake for his pictures. He is content no matter where he is. Loves to explore when he is having his 'floor time' and likes to pick on his sister Pearl.

 

PEARL 

 This dreamy solid white female is just a doll! She has a black as coal nose and a super soft, fluffy coat. She is as precious as can be..

 Pearl is a princess. She loves to be cuddled.. But has been the first to really instigate playtime. She has been reserved and will be going to her new home in Kentucky when she is 8 weeks old! Pure torture for her new family to have to wait that long! but definitely worth the wait..

 

Now the time will fly, especially with Christmas around the corner! I will try to catch some more play time movies this week. They are the best!!

 



Movie Night..

I'm not sure who looks more cozy.. Humphrey or Sis.. I think that she is part puppy.. On the nights she watches T.V. she cuddles and loves on the puppies.. I think it's called 'multi-tasking'..

My little man isn't as much of an animal lover as my daughter, but he can't resist Bogart. he is so snuggly, mellow and loves the attention!

 

They are starting to be really active, eyes open ready to play. Occasionally we will even hear a little growl or even a bark.. The cutest sound ever!  I even got some footage of Pearl picking a fight with Bogart.. SO CUTE!! Sorry the pictues are so bad! I have an OLD version itouch and it doesn't take the best pictures..

 And I couldn't leave out sweet Pearl.. Cozy all on her own.. (Mama was laying with her, but I took these while she was getting a break)

 I love the puppy pile up pictures.. Nothing sweeter than a sleeping puppy..

I love Chanels little face! It just makes me want to kiss her.. Pearl is layng on Bogart after their play time.. Just exhausted I am sure! But I love this picture cuz you can see the little back side of her paw.. So tiny and cute!

 

Just Like Christmas For Me!

It's official! This week I have started putting together the 'puppy packages'. Part of this process for me is to register the litter. I always wait for two-weeks before registering them just in case.. SO all 6 little cuties are now OFFICIAL members of the AKC! and their paperwork is on it's way!

FUN FLEECE BLANKETS!! Something I have always done for our pups is a blankie and a stuffed toy. I have this theory, if the puppies eat, sleep and live with their blankie & stuffie the entire 6-8 weeks they are in my care it carries the 'smell' of their siblings, what they think of as home and most importantly their mommy. I think going to their new home can be scary and I think as much familiarity we can send  with them the smoother the transition for the puppy. My little girl has always 'helped' me with the puppies. Now that she is older (7) she likes to have more say- so this year she picked the blankets out! Fun, Fun, Fun!!

I think it is important to learn as much as you can about your new family member and their breed. I always include a training book in our package. I read so much before we decided on our first schnauzer and it was so helpful in my potty and kennel training!This year we are trying out a new book with our puppy package.. The one I love is out of print and after hours of searching for it on the Internet found it, but it was back ordered for months..which means it probably would never be delivered.. I looked into this one, I think it too has a lot of useful information, simplified for quick browsing, but very interesting and resourceful if you are like me and always read cover to cover!

And for those puppies that are flying to their new homes.. Once they are 6 weeks old, we separate them into their own kennels. That way it becomes their home. Flying pups is stressful on a little pup! We think flying them in their 'home' with their stinky blankie and chewed toy is such a comfort for them and creates a smoother transition and less stress! Don't worry though.. They get plenty of playtime with us and their siblings in that last two-weeks..  

 

All in all- getting all of this together is fun for me. I know it sounds weird.. But I enjoy doing their photo albums and trying to provide not only a beautiful puppy with quality bloodlines, but a well rounded socialized, loving cuddly puppy.. I thik it helps their new family with the adjustment as well. So for me.. It's just like Christmas!

2 Weeks Old

PEEK-A-BOO!

2 Weeks have crawled by! We are anxiously waiting for their eyes to open.. any day now!!

 

Ashton 

 We have been calling him 'Dusty' because this little white chocolate darling has a unique light tan hue to his coat. It makes his chocolate features really stand out.

 Ashton is the mellowest of the bunch right now. He really is just content to cuddle and hang out.

 

Hudson

 This little light chocolate/pepper sweet heart is as cute as they come. He has phantom markings and white tipped toes!

 Hudson loves to cuddle, but is very curious too. he will wander and sniff around until he finds his perfect spot to curl up and nap..

 

Pearl

Is Reserved! Her new home will be in Kentucky!

 Pearl is as perfect as they come! She has a bright white thick coat with darling black features. She is a a precious little girl!

 She loves to cuddle. She will hang out in my daughters lap while she watches T.V. with out worrying about where her mama is. She truly is a Pearl!

 

Chanel

 Chanel is a tiny dark chocolate / pepper female. She has white tipped toes and stunning phantom markings that make her chocolate chip nose really stand out! What a Beauty!!

 There is no doubt Chanel is a sweet heart. She loves to explore, but prefers to fall asleep in our arms..

 

Humphrey

 Humphrey is a gorgeous little white male schnauzer with black features. Instead of being Bogarts twin these days, he is more like Pearls. He has a really nice thick white coat.

 Humphrey is a cuddler. He is kindof a mamas boy and doesn't like to be too far away from her. But that is normal for these little guys!

 

Bogart

 Bogart is a stunning white chocolate male with the cutest chocolate chip nose!

 He has a mellow personality so far and loves to cuddle on my neck.. What a cutie!!
